Michael and Elizabeth have, since 1974, held the vision for Cambridge Naturals. Michael, CVO, is our Chief Visionary Officer. He is a consultant to businesses within the Natural Products Market and speaks at natural products trade events about the rewards and the struggles of running a locally-owned community-oriented business. Elizabeth is a Certified Nutritionist with a Master’s degree in Nutrition Science. She consults with customers on issues of health and wellness using evidence-based science for nutritional supplementation.

Kris Berg, Store Manager and Nutrition Specialist

Kris hails from the State of Wisconsin, the land of cheese and lovely folk. With a Master‘s degree from Smith College in the History of Medicine, Kris stays current with nutritional information through formal education & informal training. “It’s great to empower people in their own health care. Being part of this community makes a difference!” says Kris, a Renaissance Woman and avid pop culturist who loves Scrabble and delicious coffee.

Corey Cloutier, Co-Manager

Corey supervises the Body Care department and oversees the buying of clean & green bodycare products. He has been with the Cambridge Naturals for 18 years and says he has used every product we sell! Corey is a certified yoga instructor and participates in herbal apprenticeships and ongoing training He is well-versed in the use of nutritional supplements for health & wellness and he wears many hats at Cambridge Naturals. Carrie, Co-Manager

Carrie is a long time student of natural health and a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition with a certification in Holistic Health Care. Carrie works daily to broaden her
knowledge of the various modalities of alternative health care and is very happy to help the Cambridge Naturals customers and community maintain their best possible health. When she’s not knitting furiously or cooking whatever she can find at the local farmer’s markets, she volunteers at Holly Hill Farm in Cohasset every week during the growing season where she gets to dig in the dirt, plant, pick and eat organic vegetables.

Kristine, Customer Care Specialist

Kristine sprouted in Brooklyn, NY but transplanted herself to the Boston area to attend college at Tufts University. She is energized by the spirit of cooperation and level of customer service we perform at Cambridge Naturals to assist customers with product choices for health & wellness. She thrives on learning & creating in the realms of arts, history, vegetable & flower gardening in the country and her favorites–critters & cookies. Kristine, like a lot of our staff thrives on knitting in the colder months. Kristine manages our Yoga & Movement Department and does excellent customer service with a gentle manner.

Anthony, Customer Service Specialist

Anthony was attracted to working at Cambridge Naturals because of all the wonderful smells of our aromatherapy oils, the naturally scented candles we sell, and the natural plant scents of the incense we stock. Since coming to Cambridge Naturals he has shown himself to be enthusiastic about customer service, his relationship with his co-workers and the products we sell. He brings a flare for computer graphics to his job and he deals with a lot of the physical and handy-man jobs that keep the store running smoothly. As the father of three young daughters, Anaylah, Anasia and Arlianna, he is familiar with our health & wellness products for children.

Sally, Bookkeeper Extraordinaire

Sally is trained and experienced in the use of supplements for children‘s health and as an educated mom of a sweet 11-year old homeschooler, Sally has connected with pregnant and nursing women over her years at Cambridge Naturals to discuss their nutritional needs during these special stages of life. Sally runs our Accounts & Bookkeeping Office and is an amazing baker, especially of chocolate goodies.

Anne, Customer Service Specialist

Anne has been a Cambridge Naturals staffer since 2007 and works along side Corey and Anthony to make the body care department one that keeps people coming back for more.  She loves that Cambridge Naturals is one of the few places to buy yoga supplies and bulk herbs.  Anne derives great pleasure helping people find just the right thing for their body, mind, and/or soul.  Which is one of the reasons why she is also Personal Life Coach.  When she isn’t working you will most likely find her with friends, smiling and dancing to live music at one venue or another.

Katie, Customer Service Specialist

Originally from the hills of Western Massachusetts, Katie has completed a Masters Degree at the New England School of Acupuncture where she has studied for the last four years. She also completed a Masters in Science Degree Program at Tufts Medical School in Pain, Research, Education and Policy and is currently enrolled in the Herbal Apprenticeship Program at the Boston School of Herbal Studies in Arlington, MA. She enjoys the outdoors and hanging with her chocolate Lab, hilarious people, writing, knitting, watching movies, cooking, staring contests and exploring Boston. She has had experience in the Natural Products industry for the last five years and works in the Nutritional Supplement Department assisting customers with their vitamin choices.

Sennea, Customer Service Specialist

Sennea has increasing taken interest in natural healing and alternative health modalities over the past few years. Working at Cambridge Naturals has provided her with exposure to herbs, supplements, body care and foods that are a part of a holistic life. This makes her very happy, she says. She loves, avocados, olives, coconuts and making things with her hands.

Samantha , Customer Service Specialist

A graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City, Samantha practices as a Certified Holistic Health Counselor, and is the founder and owner of Earthwise Healing Arts at Harvard Square Acupuncture and Massage. She works to create a clear, healthy, energized, and passionate life and brings that level of energy to her work with our customers and their health needs at Cambridge Naturals.

Jackie, Customer Service Specialist

Jackie hails from a small town in the Hudson Valley. In 2008 she and her partner, Reid, moved into a tiny Somerville studio and immediately fell in love with the vibrant community. At Cambridge Naturals, Jackie likes to keep the shelves stocked with healthy treats; she’s always on the lookout for new kombuchas, cereals, and nut butters. In her downtime, Jackie enjoys exploring the local farmer’s markets, reading the New Yorker, and watching foreign films.

Nate, Customer Service Specialist

Nate’s purpose in life changed after a spending a year in Americorps NCCC, taking part in the clean up of the Gulf after hurricanes Katrina/Rita. He found himself concerned with what is really important in life; health, mental and physical. Nate looked for jobs that would compliment that mindset, working first at the larger health food chains learning the ins and outs of the natural health business. Cambridge Naturals reputation for great customer service and relentless pursuit of all things local made it a place he REALLY wanted to work. Nate is thrilled to be a member of the team and look forward to serving the community with a smile! His passions include a commitment to Ashtanga Yoga, and cooking new and interesting vegetarian meals with his life partner Jade J.

Nathan, Co-Manager and Licensed Acupuncturist

Though originally from a small town in Idaho, Nathan spent some time living in Australia, Spain and Italy before planting himself in Boston. Once here, he was introduced to Reiki, which eventually lead him to formal training in acupuncture at the New England School of Acupuncture, graduating in 2009. He is excited to join the Cambridge Naturals team, not only to bring in non-Western perspectives of health to patrons, but also to continuously educate himself, which is one of his top priorities. When not at the store, you might spot him wandering Metro Boston in search of the perfect cup of jasmine tea.

Sophie, Customer Service Specialist

Sophie grew up in Newton, MA, and studied Psychology at the University of New Hampshire in the town of Durham. During college, she studied abroad in France and Italy learning about the different cultures and cuisines. Throughout college she became more intrigued with nutrition and started experimenting with cooking and baking. She enrolled in the Institute of Integrative Nutrition to expand her knowledge in health and nutrition. When she walked into Cambridge Naturals she knew it was the place she wanted to work. She enjoys, jogging, traveling, organic and biodynamic wine, and spending time with friends.
